Rates, Qualifications, and Credit Guidelines

Eligibility

Interest Rates

The interest rate for all of our international private loan programs (International Student Loan, Foreign Enrolled Loan, Study Abroad Loan and Canadian Student Loan) is equal to the LIBOR Index plus a margin. The margin for the Loan may vary, depending on the credit-worthiness of the borrower or co-borrower (if any). Please see the individual pages for rate and repayment information for the program you are interested in!

Credit Guidelines

All applicants for the International Student Loan and Foreign Enrolled Loan WILL require a cosigner - there are absolutely no exceptions.

For Study Abroad loans, you can apply without a cosigner, but will need over 27 months of established credit history - so please try to apply with a cosigner to improve your chances.
